Klein, robuust, energiezuinig en toch zo krachtig dat de zwaarste navigatieprogramma's moeiteloos kunnen worden verwerkt.
Niet alleen de krachtige Intel i5 processor, maar ook het ruim bemeten interne geheugen van 8 Gb geven voldoende ruimte voor snelle afhandeling van alle gegevens waardoor ook AIS gegevens in de drukst bevaren gebieden zonder haperingen op het scherm worden gepresenteerd. 
 
Deze zeer kleine PC heeft alles wat u van een volwaardige Boord-PC mag verwachten en is vrijwel gelijk aan ons eerdere succesmodel 16A1SUN, maar op de belangrijkste punten vernieuwd en verbeterd: krachtiger processor (nu 2.66 GHz ipv 1.5 GHz), 64 Gb micro SSD ipv 32 Gb, standaard 8 Gb RAM ipv 2 Gb (nu uitbreidbaar tot 32 Gb ipv max. 16 Gb).
De bekende voordelen zoals hieronder vermeldt zijn natuurlijk behouden gebleven.
- Energiezuinig: slechts 15 Watt in "idle" stand
- geen bewegende delen: geen harddisk maar de nieuwste en ultra zuinige en snelle M-SSD. Ventilator (voor nood) wel aanwezig, maar staat - behalve onder extreme omstandigheden - eigenlijk altijd uit.
- zeer snel intern geheugen
- volwaardige multimedia eigenschappen
- Windows 10 NL

Dit model kan ook worden geleverd met Intel's i5 of i7 processor en met tot wel 32 Gb intern geheugen (DDR3L dus absoluut de meest energiezuinige en snelle).

- 4 USB porten, waarvan 2  2.0 en 2 x 3.0 met als extra 2 Ampère per poort! (Geshikt voor opladen iPad, camera's of Long Range WiFi).
- 2.66 GHZ quattro core processor met extra grote cache memory
- 16 Gb DDRL3 intern geheugen. Dit geheugen is momenteel zeer gunstig geprijsd, waardoor een verdere uitbreiding voor de hand ligt.
Het geheugen kan worden uitgebreid tot 32 Gb. Voor toepassing in extreem koude of warme (tot 105 graden) gebieden kunnen optioneel speciale onderdelen, waaronder speciaal geheugen worden geïnstalleerd.

"The 17A1SUN2 series is the new smallest ever Mini PCs. Power-saving Intel ULV (ultra-low-voltage) processors of the current Skylake generation bring higher clock frequencies and enhanced graphics performance. Further improvements include support of up to 32 GB of DDR3L SO-DIMM memory, one 2.5" drive up to 15 mm in height as well as M.2-2280 NVMe SSD cards can be installed. The DisplayPort connector has grown from mini to full-size and delivers video resolutions of up to 4K with 60 frames per second. HDMI interface 
Goodbye cable spaghetti! Modern flat-screen TVs and large-format TFT screens can be connected to this Mini-PC with just a single thin cable. Often the audio output is also transferred in brilliant quality via the HDMI cable.




Multiformat card reader 
At last – no more searching for missing digital camera leads. Simply insert the memory card and you can access all stored photos and videos immediately.




The fastest connection to external peripheral devices available to date 
The USB 3.0 connectors of this model allow for data transfer of up to 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s). This enables external devices such as USB hard disks to be connected and run at nearly the same speed as their internal siblings. USB 3.0 is downward compatible so that also devices of previous USB generations can be hooked up.

You can rely on SSD 
This is where an energy-saving "Solid State Drive" should be used. This drive technology guarantees extremely short access times, the highest data transmission rates and considerably lower energy consumption compared to conventional hard disks. SSDs have no mechanical components at all, are therefore subject to less wear and tear and consequently benefit from a longer service life.




Just 2.5" HDDs 
An extremely compact PC housing offers less space for drives, that's why this Mini-PC uses slimline 2.5-inch hard disks. The advantage of this is that there's less noise, less heat generated and reduced power consumption. However small hard disks in a small housing does not have to mean less memory. Modern 2.5" HDDs are every bit as good as their 3.5" brothers.




Fan-less external power supply 
A highly effective external power supply provides the Shuttle Mini-PC with its energy. And since it works without a fan, it is completely noise-free.




Connections without all those annoying cables 
Data is transferred by WLAN completely without cables. Accessing the Internet and local network resources (e.g. printers) is now child's play when within range of an access point/hotspot.




Low energy consumption 
Thrift is a virtue. In terms of power consumption this Mini-PC sets an example. It is not just good for the environment but for your pocket, too.




Securely attached 
The practical VESA mounting surface on the back of the device enables it to be attached to monitor arms or wall mounts. The VESA format is standardised, making it suitable for most mounts.




The interface for the fastest of memory media 
Internal drives to be used inside this Mini-PC can transfer data at a speed of up to 6 Gbit/s. Hard drives thus run significantly faster and brand-new media technologies such as SSDs can use their full potential. Be sure to look for SATA 6 Gbit/s.




De B-Bit Boord-PC 17A1SUN5 is hier op voet afgebeeld, maar kan zonder voet in vrijwel ieder positie worden gemonteerd. Met de meegeleverde VESA montageplaat is montage aan de achterzijde van een monitor of aan wand / paneel mogelijk.

Opgelet:  Het model 17A1SUN2, SUN3, SUN5 en SUN7 is iets hoger (42 mm) dan het voorgaande model. Hierdoor is het o.a. mogelijk de hogere SSD's en harddisken te plaatsen.
